To maximize the effectiveness of your social media promotions, we have compiled this step-by-step guide detailing how to post our content on platforms like Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
In this guide, you will see images from a few different programs Food Revolution Network offers. These same steps can be applied to any promotion you are sharing with your audience.
You can access social media swipe copy and images for each of our programs directly from the Affiliate Center dashboards. The suggested copy and images we offer are simply ideas to help you get started. Most partners have learned that it works best to write in your own authentic voice. Please use our promotional materials as much as you would like, and feel confident that you know your audience best!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to add your affiliate link to all posts so you don’t miss out on commissions. Please use the link exactly as provided. Do NOT click on the link and use the URL that appears in your browser. The resolving URL will not work for referral tracking. For social media promotions, you may use a link shortener like bitly.com).
PRO TIP: We encourage you to include images with your social media promotions. Images have a higher chance of being shared and are proven to increase engagement on social platforms.

1. Log in to the FRN Affiliate Center.
2. Select the swipe copy you want to use and click the copy button (or create your own).
3. Paste the swipe copy onto your Facebook page.

4. Paste your affiliate link into a link shortener (like http://goo.gl/ or bitly.com), click to shorten, and copy the shortened link.
5. Add your shortened affiliate code link to the post.

6. Download the image you would like to post with the text. You can either download all the images or download images individually.
If you download images individually, they will pop up in a new browser window. You can then drag and drop the image onto your desktop or right-click and save the image.
7. Upload the image to your Facebook post.

8. Click “Post” or “Share Now” to post to your page.

4. Paste your affiliate link into a link shortener (like http://goo.gl/ or bitly.com) and copy the shortened link.
5. Add your shortened affiliate code link to the tweet.
6. Download the image you would like to post with the text. You can either download all the images or download images individually.
If you download images individually, they will pop up in a new browser window. You can then drag and drop the image onto your desktop or right-click and save the image.

8. Click “Tweet” to post to your page.

3. Choose an image and paste the swipe copy into your new post. Unless you use software for Instagram, you’ll need to send the image and copy to your phone and post from there.
4. Paste your affiliate link into a link shortener (like http://goo.gl/ or bitly.com) and copy the shortened link.
5. Add your unique affiliate link to your bio.
Instagram Story — True/False Poll
1. Open your Instagram app and click “Your Story” at the top left corner of your phone. Alternatively, swipe right from the main page to open up “Your Story.”
2. With the correct image downloaded to your phone’s camera roll, click the Camera Roll icon at the bottom left corner of your phone.
Then, select the correct image you would like to use.
3. With the correct image selected, click the Stickers icon at the top of your phone. The icon looks like a folded square with a smiley face.
4. Scroll down, then click the “Poll” sticker.
5. Type in “TRUE” where it says “YES,” and type in “FALSE” where it says “NO.”
See the example below.
6. Click done.
Move the True/False poll between the copy and the image.
Finally, click “Your Story” at the bottom left corner of your phone.
Instagram Story — Quiz
1. Open your Instagram app and click “Your Story” at the top left corner of your phone. Alternatively, swipe right from the main page to open up “Your Story.”
2. With the correct image downloaded to your phone’s camera roll, click the Camera Roll icon at the bottom left corner of your phone.
Then, select the correct image you would like to use.
3. With the correct image selected, click the Stickers icon at the top of your phone. The icon looks like a folded square with a smiley face.
4. Scroll down and click the “Quiz” sticker.
5. Type in the correct question in the question box.
6. Type in all the provided answers.
Options C and D will appear after you’ve typed in Option B.
Make sure the correct answer is selected. It will be highlighted in green.
7. Click done.
Then, move and resize the Quiz between the copy and the image.
Finally, click “Your Story” at the bottom left corner of your phone.
Instagram Story — Countdown
1. Open your Instagram app and click “Your Story” at the top left corner of your phone. Alternatively, swipe right from the main page to open up “Your Story.”
2. With the correct image downloaded to your phone’s camera roll, click the Camera Roll icon at the bottom left corner of your phone.
Then, select the correct image you would like to use.
3. With the correct image selected, click the Stickers icon at the top of your phone. The icon looks like a folded square with a smiley face.
4. Scroll down and click the “Countdown” sticker.
5. Type in the correct “Countdown Name.”
Select the correct date. Be sure to keep “All Day” selected, unless otherwise stated.
6. To change the color of the Countdown, click the rainbow icon at the top middle of your phone until the correct color is found.
7. Click done.
Move the Countdown between the copy and the logo.
Finally, click “Your Story” at the bottom left corner of your phone.
